I like there style especially the AND1 ballers their moves are incredible. Why or Why not?
Do You Think Street Ballers Are good Enough to play in the NBA?nba playoffs 2007
No. They couldn't last in the NBA. They would get too much carrying calls and they lack fundamentals.
Do You Think Street Ballers Are good Enough to play in the NBA?nba league pass ,nba teams
yeah look at rafer alston (skip to my lou of AND1)
For the most part no. Since in street ball you dont play defense and you play a wreckless style of offense. You need more weapons then just being able to dunk. The only people from street ballers who can really succeed are guys who know how to handle the ball. There is a reason why there are only a few in the NBA. Rafer Alston was fortunate he was also a good passer and ball handler that he was able to be sucessful in the NBA.
Nope. First of all the coaches don't like them. Second, they lack discipline doing dribble moves that are unnecessary for a professional basketball game. But maybe, they can be a good player anyway, with proper training and practice of discipline.
nah it would be really hard for them to be disciplined. You need it to be pro
There is a guy named "Baby Shaq" he is the only one i think that can make the NBA. Just no one gives a chance. Even Rasheed Wallace, Tayshaun Prince, and Shaq recommended him. He isn't like the other street players. "BS" has a way better jump shot than any of the other players who play with him and even he wants to make it to the real show.
No, if you pay close attention they either travel or palming. No defense and you really never see them take any perimeter shots. I know AND 1 and the NBA are both technically entertainment, but the NBA plays for championships, AND 1 is just for street entertainment.
hell no. they are athletic but do not have the same talent level as guys in the nba. i'd pickcollegeguys over them. thats why you see 6'7 guys who cant handle the ball and can only dunk. they got em playing center. in the nba your shooting guard is 6'7!
i give A.O some respect though. the guys think can play in the nba are those harlem globe trotters. they have guys that actually played division 1 ball and professionally overseas. those and 1 guys cant even make the d league
No..check out Sebastian Telfair..he's a good example of what would happen to most street ballers.
No I don't think so because street ballers are going to be to used to the alley oops and fancy moves and they don't play much defense. The NBA is too advance for them.
No, not good enough at the fundamentals, and street ballers usually lack defensive ability
well it depends. Pretty much all of them haven't, with Rafer "Skip to my Lou" Alston being a rare exception. Aaron "AO" Owens won a D-league championship in 2002, Hot Sauce has been contacted by the Hawks a few times, The Professor plays in the ABA, and Escalade was a fan favorite at the University of Louisville.
no theres a reason theyre not pro.
a lot of their moves violate basic rules and a lot cant defend or actually shoot the ball
there's Davis %26amp; Alston?
